A. Possibly! The app has to support being "linked to", and many do not. The 'Available Links' page contains a link for every app that I'm aware of that can be linked to. If you don't see your favorite app listed, write to the developers of the app and ask them to add support for a 'Custom URL' scheme that will open their app to a specified book, chapter and verse. They'll know what that means.
A. Almost certainly. See here for instructions on how to install an existing plan. If your favorite plan isn't listed, and is freely distributable for non-commercial use, please send a copy or a link to support, and I will be happy to format it for use with ReadingPlan and post it for download.
A. Go to Settings, verify the appropriate plan is selected, tap Adjust Start Date. The Start Date for the plan will adjusted automatically so that the first incomplete reading is "today". If you don't see the Adjust Start Date row (in the Progress section), upgrade to ReadingPlan 4.5 or later and try again.
A. ReadingPlan plans are simple text files. The file format is described here. Instructions for copying the plan to your device are here.
A. Please contact support with details and I'll certainly consider it.

A. By default, ReadingPlan open web links in its own internal web viewer. If you would prefer to have a web site open in Safari instead, edit its link by replacing 'http' with 'safari'. Instructions for editing bible links are here.
A. Regrettably, there's no central registry for custom URL schemes, and so multiple apps can and do use same URL for linking ("bible://" is very popular.) When two or more apps share a link, Apple says "the behavior is undefined", meaning that it's not predictable (even to Apple, must less to ReadingPlan) what app will handle the link. Sometimes you can change which app handles a link by uninstalling and reinstalling the apps in a different order, but even that doesn't always work. The only thing that will certainly work is to delete the app that you don't want to use, or link to an app that uses a unique scheme.
A. If you're more or less up-to-date on your plan, the easiest thing to do is to set the start date and use the Mark Read to Today option in Settings. On the other hand, if you're significantly ahead or behind, or have been reading "off-plan", the easiest thing to do is to 'sync' your new device with your old one, using the Sync/Share Progress option. While you still have your old device, turn on syncing; ReadingPlan will upload and store your progress. Then, with your new device, turn on syncing; ReadingPlan will download your progress. (If you only have a single device, you can turn syncing off at this point.) Instructions for setting up syncing are here.
A. Yes, just select another plan in Settings. If you want to track progress in multiple copies of the same plan, rename the plan and download another copy. See here for details. As of version 4.5, it's very easy to switch between your top five plans, see the New Features page.
A. Yes, you have ReadingPlan 4.5 or later, and the plan supports it. Simply place the second link under the primary link selected for the plan, any third link under that, etc. To see if a plan supports multiple links, find the plan on the Settings | Reading Plan | View Available Plans page, tap the "View" button, and look for entries followed by ">2", ">3", etc. These readings will use the first link under the primary (checked) link, the one under that, etc.
A. As of version 4.2.1, badges, notifications and reminders are generated for every plan for which they are enabled, not just the currently selected plan. The quickest way to fix the problem is to delete any plan you're not actually reading. Or, find the plan you're not reading that has badges or notifications turned on, and turn them off.
A. Check your device settings: Go to the system 'Settings' app, tap 'Notifications', scroll down to 'ReadingPlan', tap that row, and turn on 'Allow Notifications'. Adjust other settings as desired. (And of course, make sure 'Notifications' are turned on in ReadingPlan itself.)
A. This was addressed in version 4.1.0. Please update your version of ReadingPlan, please upgrade if you're still seeing this problem.
A. Sorry about that! This was fixed in version 4.0.1. Please update your version of ReadingPlan if you're still seeing this problem.
