Release Notes (Version 3.0)
This is a major release with many new features:
- adds support for syncing progress automatically between devices
- adds support for sharing progress with reading partners
- adds the ability to archive and display progress from completed plans
- adds the ability to copy progress from one plan to another
- adds a 'dimmer' control, to darken the screen for easier reading in dim light
- adds support for native bible apps from PocketSword, Mantis, and Logos
- improves handling of partial progress when changing the 'Detail Chapters' setting

Future Enhancements
Thanks to all who have written with suggestions for new features. Here are the ones I'm currently considering. If you feel strongly about a feature, feel free to let me know, and of course other suggestions are always welcome.

New features: Can now link to native (on-device) bible apps by Crossway and Just1Word.
Bug fixes: Correct title of bible link editing view. Settings for new plan default to those for current plan.

Version 2.3 (Submitted 8 March 2011)
New features: New view displays progress through individual books of the bible and through the bible as a whole, in addition to progress through the selected plan. All settings are now stored individually for each plan. Can now store progress for an unlimited number of readings per day. Start date now includes year for plans of any duration; start date is now set using a standard iOS date spinner. Algorithm for breaking readings at chapter boundaries significantly enhanced. The 'tap area' for detail view check boxes is twice as wide as in earlier versions.
Bug fixes: Progress data is compressed and saved to disk immediately in all circumstances. All default and optional plans have been edited for misspellings, formatting errors, and missing or extra readings.

Version 2.2.1 (Submitted 29 December 2010)
New features: Adds additional date formats and support for region-specific formats (iOS 4.0+). Can now set and clear all readings for a day by double-tapping the center of the toolbar (iOS 3.2+). Adds ability to rename plans, allowing multiple copies of the same plan on a single device.
Bug fixes: Improves stability in low-memory conditions; fixes occasional 'lost progress' problem.

Version 2.1.1 (Submitted 15 September 2010)
Fixes an install problem encountered by users upgrading to 2.1 directly from 1.0.2.

Version 2.1 (Submitted 2 September 2010)
New features: Updated artwork, including high-resolution files to support iPhone 4. Adds support for copying plan files to and from the app using iTunes.
Bug fixes: Fixed detailed progress display when a day's reading includes more than eight items; now saves progress immediately instead of upon return to main screen (preventing occasional lost progress on iPhone 4); plan files updated as needed to give partial chapter readings their own detail line; fixed 'Start Date' slider where small adjustments around current day sometimes gave wrong weekdays.

Version 2.0 (Submitted 24 June 2010)
New features: Native support for the iPad. Ability to download new reading plans. Ability to delete, rearrange and restore reading plans. Ability to add, edit, delete, rearrange and restore online bible sites. Tracks progress in multiple plans simultaneously, shows percent complete for each active plan. Supports all orientations on iPhone and iPod touch, as well as on iPad.

Version 1.0.2 (Submitted 20 Feb 2010)
New features: Added new online sites that target mobile devices. Increased the active area of the check boxes in the Detail View. Modified the handling of the 'Other' online site so that it retains changes when re-selected. Added more detail in help on how the app interprets the 'Start Date' setting.
Bug fixes: Fixed formatting problem for several readings in Chronological plan.

Version 1.0.1 (Submitted 16 Nov 2009)
New features: New option allows consecutive chapters to be treated either together or individually. Useful when reading online or marking progress. Added a 'stop load' button to the web view. Useful when you hit a link by mistake while scrolling.
Bug fixes: Progress occasionally had to be re-entered after using browser; missing reading for 12/7 in Chronological plan; 'Mark Read To Today' occasionally off by one.
